What is Scholastic Reading Club?

Dear Families,

Encouraging reading is one of the most important things we can do to help your child succeed. It can be tough finding the right books to keep them interested, which is why I am so excited that our class will be participating in Scholastic Reading Club this school year.


With Scholastic Reading Club:

•  Every book you buy earns FREE Books for their teacher's classroom library 

• You can choose from handpicked, grade- and reading-level-specific books for your child

• You'll find the best values on a variety of formats, including eBooks

Each month, your child will bring home Reading Club flyers. Together you can choose from books hand-selected by teachers and experts. You can place your order online or your child can return their order form and payment to either their teacher or make arrangements with Diskin's RCC, Ms. Ashley if your child's teacher isn't an active Reading Club member.

Every month, Reading Club lets your child choose from the best books and eBooks just right for his or her grade, reading level, and interests. 

There’s even a $1 book section so that everyone gets the chance to own their very own book at home.   
 
MAKE IT FUN! Letting your kids pick the books they want gets them more excited and eager to read. Even choosing books together builds excitement and keeps the reading motivation going at home. Scholastic even holds monthly promotions and contests for kids to earn prizes for participating!
