HELLO DISKIN FAMILY!! In the blink of an eye, back to school has arrived! I know it's been a few months since you've heard from me, but just in case you have forgotten who I am or your kiddos are new to our school, my name is Ashley (the kids call me Ms. Ashley) and I'm our school's Scholastic Reading Club Coordinator. This volunteer position with Scholastic was created March of last year to have someone help encourage our kids to strengthen their reading skills in a variety of ways. This 2014-2015 school year will be my first full school year to showcase my position as Reading Club Coordinator so I'm super excited to get started. I have a few fun ideas lined up to get the kids eager to dig into the fresh new books we have on campus, but I'm always open to comments and suggestions! I'm here to help all of you! Last year I sent home monthly newsletters to keep everyone in the loop of Scholastic's monthly promos and whatever RCC related things we had going on. This year I'm trying something new and created this page for everyone to utilize. Please bare with me as I test the waters. As always, I'd love the hear your feedback on this transition so feel free to comment below or e-mail me any constructive criticism or feedback.
